We Like To Get Hands On At The Redbird Studio
Art classes at Redbird Design and Illustration are not just about learning new brush strokes or how to choose the right colour pallet. Our students are encouraged to fully explore their artistic side and stretch their imaginations, even if it means getting a little messy now and again.
Oh, and we always like to mix in a little a lot of fun, in fact we insist on it.

STEP 2
STEP 3
Next, we’ll invite you to the studio, where we can get to know each other, answer your questions about us and find out how we can help you…
Then you can join us for your first lesson or workshop and start getting creative…

“…there are no mistakes, just learnings”

Art is about making your own mark. At Redbird Design & Illustration studio we encourage you to experiment with mixed media effects and discover how to create your own awesome textures, that no-one else owns and you can’t buy anywhere else.
You can learn how to create depth to your paintings and bring the surface of your canvas to life, by using household objects like baking paper, salt or even gladwrap.
Along with practical lessons in drawing, we can also show you how to ‘customise your paint’ so that people who see your art will be left guessing what you’ve done to create each texture.
Kids and paint mix well at our studio.
We impress on the importance of technique by using fun activities to help stretch their artistic knowledge.
They will laugh a lot, learn even more and discover how to use a wide range of techniques to express their art.
